Video is the most complex of the multimedia technologies used on the web. The video can offer a compelling experience that can include images, voice, music and motion. Video can be all consuming, monopolizing our eyes as well as our ears, providing new to see and hear every moment.
Video changes the way visitors experience a web page. Video can tell a story, entertain an audience, explain a complex process and bring a personal touch to the communication. Video in my project is the best way to introduce and welcoming our audience to FIMUS. However, the web users are demanding new and exciting things in the web site, they are asking for audio, animation and video.
We have planed to make a video of the octopus in the aquarium, but the octopus unaccepted has died unexpected. So, our plan was broken. Thats why we have decided to shoot a video film of the different fish in the aquarium and shoot a video of different rooms in FIMUS.
In structure of our project happened FORS MAJORE, because now I had shoot a video film of FIMUS as I have planed, but FIMUS have bought a new octopus and have taught him to eat from the bottle, and I am sure that if we will have a video film of the octopus on the web we can attract a much more bigger audience to us.
This video is will be very interesting to all audience not only for small kids or only to old people, its will attract all audience and its what we need.
We do not have so much time to change our plane every time, because today is the 11th of December and I should finished my project for the 19 of December. But in this situation we have to change this video, as it is very important to us to get more users.
Making the video film is a big job. Before I start I have to find good idea and then I need to draw a storyboard for my video. Then I have to shoot with the digital camera, next step I should get the video data in to the computer, after I will cut it on the pieces and take that one what I need, which will be perfect on the web page. Finally, I need to embed or link the video file to the appropriate place or position where I need to place in my web site. In my project I made a page and called it Video.
For my video I have chosen the most popular internet format of video FLV (Flash video). This format is used on all popular portals as followings: YouTube, Google Video, Reuters.com, Yahoo! Video and MySpace. The BBC has recently started using FLV based media on their news portal.
I have used program Adobe Premier Pro CS 3 to build, edit and convert my video to Flash Video format. Viewing of completed video to be made of Flash video player called Any Flash Player.

Compression is the key to making video work on the Web. Multimedia on the web would not be possible without data compression. Even the smallest, simplest picture on a web page is compressed before it is placed on the page and then decompressed by the viewers computer. The more a file is compressed, the smaller it gets, the faster it travels over the Web and lowers its quality Im creating the cover sheet for my album with this photo collage software.
A storyboard is a sketch of how to organize a story and a list of its contents.
A storyboard helps me:
Define the parameters of a story within available resources and time
Organize and focus a story
Figure out what medium to use for each part of the story
Storyboard is used to explain the idea to other people who have interest to that.
Drawing storyboards is an excellent way to keep motivated and to show that you are organized and let every one knows what is going on in your head.
Storyboarding is the process of producing sketches of the shots of your script. The end result looks like comic book of your film. It helps you think about how a scene may look and play on camera. This planning diagram will show what will come first, second and so on. I have used pencil, paper and Microsoft Word to create a storyboard for my video film.

In this part of the report I am trying to explain why I am using a video in my web site, and more detailed information of its steps, and where I need to place it.
I think that the video in my project is one of the ways to introduce and welcome our audience to FIMUS web site. My video is compressed and digitalized. The user who views the page will get the compressed multimedia file.
