The structure of the site is rather satisfying, but I found the navigation a little confusing, since not all the sections of the main menu are defined properly. Design is light, but the pictures used for the site are not of the best qualities. There are not so many pictures.The advantages of the site are obviously middle price, user friendly design and provide with all necessary information.
I intend to improve the navigation as well - to name all the pages from the beginning. I will keep the design simple; though will choose the colors according to the mood boards. (And sea colors).
The main idea of this website is to be informative, focusing on getting the users attention as much as possible. This website will be used to provide all necessary information required. I will use Flash, ASP.NET, SQL, Adobe Premier Pro and Adobe Photoshop to support my website.
It is important to develop an attractive website with the easy navigation. Because when the website is professionally designed, there is usually a higher and better communication between the customers and the organization.
Also I will make it possible to order the books on-line, as it could be very useful function for customers as right now you can not order anything on-line. At the moment you first print out name of the needed article and then have to send it to FIMUS by post; I found this uncomfortable for our users.

We need to have the questions scheduled in order to better know, what teenagers think/mean about (FIMUS) fish museum.
In my opinion FIMUSs webpage is not so interesting for a young audience. Because there is a lot of written information placed on the web page, the web page does not contain anything interesting for teenagers, any games (pictures, fun things to do). With our questions schedule we can get to know how we can change the web page and become interesting to this target group, for the future visitors of our web page and also of the museum.
Children have different interests in different ages of theirs lives. So, I will separate our childrens target group into 3 groups. I will not take into account children from 1 to 7 years old because they are too young to visit our web page.
So, here the main 3 parts:
o from 7 to 10 years old
o from 10 to 12 years old
o from 12 to 15 years old
The main problem of our research is to settle interests and needs of the children which are coming to museum. Thats why I have made the questions scheduler for children of 12 to 15 years old.
In order to integrate more people from our target group, I will give out our questions schedule the nearby shop with ice cream, where they are most going for getting some ice cream.1
I have made this question schedule in order to better know, what could be most interesting in our museum is for people of that age. With the help of theirs answers we can improve or get new ideas which we can use on the web page, which will be interesting for that age group.

I have planed to get the answers from about 100 children but I got the answers only from 18, the reason for this is that it is a not a high season in museum, so they do not have so many visitors at FIMUS. This schedule was in the museum for a one week and I got only 18 answers, but I still will try to see from this small amount what is needed for that target group is.

So, here after these researches I have found out that this target group which was in focus, after our researching want to see: more things for children/teenagers in museum. They also think that most interest things in museum are the (S?lerne) the cat-fish. Also it could be that target audience maybe too small for using the museums webpage; they do not have so much interest. For increasing attractiveness of website visitors, for them I will try to put more nice pictures especially of cat-fish on the web page and try to make it more successful for that age of people. Also, to attract an audience I will make more advertisements about the fish museum also with the cat-fish. I have some examples of different posters and where we can put them. When the audience will see them, they will have interest in us, and then they will visit our website for sure3. I am sure that we can attract them in that way.
Desk research is a term that is used loosely and it generally refers to the collection of secondary data or that which has already been collected.
To most people it suggests published reports and statistics that are either electronic or in hard copy. Therefore, libraries, online databases and the Internet are certainly important sources, as are speaking to someone at a trade association or carrying out an interview with an industry expert.
The data for the project was obtained by means of field research and desk research.
Most of the information on the company and some of the data needed for the target group analysis was gathered through the field research.
Field research was carried out in form of questionnaire and interview: The starting point for the actual report was an interview with Marie a head of the Fish museum. I refer to her knowledge regarding the present situation in the company, and real estate market in general.
The primary data needed for target group analysis was collected through the survey (questionnaire with multiple choice questions) offered to many respondents but with results from only 18. The purpose of the questionnaire was to obtain general information on the target group such as age, what they like in the Fish museum, what most interesting and so on. The chosen method has allowed collecting relatively valid information. The surveys were carried our personally.
I will use Spiral model for my website, because it is so many things can go wrong when people make a new website, with this model you will see how I work.
The customer can change his opinion and one should be able to adapt to these changes. This can take time and can conflict with the planned timeline. Project development is started in the centre of the spiral and moves outwards as the development cycle progresses.

SWOT is method of reviewing the current situation of your business or service. The idea is that I identify the strengths and weaknesses of our service, pinpoint opportunities and note treats.

I have made some analyzing by using SWOT analysis for FIMUS. With the help of our website I will try to make our weakness and treats more successful for our company. I will use some animation, professional video and easy navigation system on the web page for getting more attention. With the help of our new webpage we will get a huge number of costumers.
Applying SWOT in this direction can obtain force for my company.
I opted to use a spiral model in this part of the report for my website, because usually things go wrong when people make a new website, so I can back and renew things if my client will change his opinion.
In this part I have analyzed our webpage and also I have analyzed the websites of the competitors companies which represent other fish museums on the Internet. Now I know how many clauses should consist in our menu and I know how our product should look like.
